What we do

At Live Music for Little Ones we love to explore! Each session we run has a different theme so we’ll play music, have parachute games and sensory experiences, read a story, get active with dancing or relax and listen to songs all based around that theme. Themes we’ve had so far include ‘On The Farm’, ‘Under the Sea’, ‘Things That Go’ and ‘Food’! But don’t worry if you missed one, I’m sure we’ll re run them again next year! Check out our events page for more upcoming themes.

What makes us different?

Live Music! It is so exciting for children and babies to see and hear real instruments being played and hopefully quite enjoyable for the parents/guardians as well! Our core team members are Charlie Wild on violin and banjo, multi instrumentalist Sally Livingstone mainly on recorders and flute, and Hannah Owen on guitar. When we get more established we hope to welcome guest musicians at each session to introduce the little ones to a wide range of different musical instruments and sounds.

We are currently running two sessions per month in the village of Harvington:

First Wednesday of each month- St James’ Church 2-3pm. The music usually runs for about 30 minutes then we’ll have a drink biscuit and a chat while the children play with the toys and instruments.

Third Tuesday of each month at Ellenden Farm Shop Cafe. This session is very popular so we have split into two groups: 9.30-10 Toddlers and 11-11.30 Babies.

All sessions cost just £1 or pay what you like and you don’t need to book, just come along!
